The Week Ahead - 28th January 2018

Sunday:
  • 11am:  Worship in Aultbea Church of Scotland with creche and Sunday school followed by a cup of tea
  • 4pm:  Poolewe Sunday school
  • 5pm:  Worship in Poolewe Free Church followed by a cup of tea
  • 7pm:  Youth Fellowship in Laide

Today: We thank & welcome Martin Cunningham who is leading our worship today.
 
Tuesday: Shipmates: Junior Shipmates 4.30pm to 5.45pm for aged 4 to Primary 2; Senior Shipmates 7pm to 8.30pm for Primary 4 to Secondary 2 – both in Poolewe Village hall.  Indoor football for anyone of High school age, 7pm in Aultbea Village hall.
 
Wednesday: Prayer meeting: 7.15pm in Aultbea Free Church hall
 
Saturday: Den coffee & cake: 12 noon to 2.30pm Gairloch Community hall
Primary Youth Club: 6pm to 7pm in Aultbea Village Hall
Prayer meeting for those who are ill: 7pm Aultbea Free Church hall
 
Meals: If you know of anyone who would benefit from meals eg just out of hospital, bereavement etc – Phone Claire on 07824396655
 
The Message: Two Lochs Radio broadcast a local service on Sunday evenings at 9.30pm @ 106.6 FM or at www.2lr.co.uk.  First Light is broadcast at 7.25am each morning & Sunday Light at 8am on Sundays
 
Next Sunday 4th February:  The services next Sunday are joint Together for Christ services at 11am in Gairloch High school and 5pm in Aultbea Church of Scotland and will be led Hector Morrison

Camps collection:  There is a l collection today for youth camps.  It costs approx. £400 to send one child to camp. Thank you for help.  Please put your donation in an envelope marked “Susan for summer camps”
 
Collections: £438 was collected for Seoras MacGillivray’s ministry area.
Donations from Choices lunches have been divided out between Aultbea Nursery, Seoras MacGillivray’s ministry area (included in total above) and youth camps.

Summer camps:  25th January = pop up café in Aultbea Village hall, 27th January = special collection, 24th February = afternoon tea and car wash.  It costs approx. £400 to send one local child to summer camps.  We have seen a lot of blessing from these camps and want to encourage the young people to attend them.  Thank you for your help in this.

FREE CHURCH YOUTH CAMPS 2018 – the new brochure is out!  Ask Susan for a copy if you have not got one.  Here is some news on the camps: 
FCYC 2018  is just around the corner!
Crammed with fun, friendship, fellowship and food, camps are guaranteed to be totally epic this summer!
Every year hundreds of young people spend a week at Free Church Youth Camps. This year we are excited to be offering 350 camp places at 12 camps.
Whether this is your first time, your second or even your sixth time coming to camp, you can be sure of a great adventure, where you’ll meet friends for life and where you’ll learn all about Jesus Christ our Saviour in a safe and friendly environment with leaders who are already so excited to meet you!
So, if you haven't already,  fill in a registration form and start getting excited for summer!
